Party Time! Excellent!

Will's birthday party finally happened last night. We didn't have a great showing, but I understand. We still had a blast, though!! Below are pictures I took before the party of decorations, etc.:

Will got sick this week and we had to take him home early from school on Thursday. Therefore, his party on Friday night was postponed to this coming Monday night. We think maybe he had strep throat...we aren't sure, though. The culture came up negative but sometimes it takes a while to show up, evidently. Either way, he had/has some type of throat infection. However, I had ordered 2 dozen cupcakes to take to his school on Friday afternoon, so we went ahead with our plan to bring the snack for his class on Friday. He enjoyed having his friends sing to him.

This morning we celebrated by having our traditional birthday blueberry muffins. Will "didn't like them" this morning, but that's okay. I am attributing it to the fact that he wasn't feeling well. It was fun seeing the look on his face when he saw the muffin with the candles it it, though! Look for our birthday party post in the near future!

I tried for about 13 hours to upload video of Will's class singing happy birthday to him but it never loaded. I gave up. Maybe I'll try again later when I have more patience!
