Oh, the Weather Outside is Frightful...

...But the fire is so delightful! Today was the coldest day we've had all year. It got down into the twenties, but felt as if it were in the teens. It snowed and we, like the good Texans we are, were enthralled by it. We see it so rarely, that you have to get excited about it. It's just the rule. So, we took pictures and bundled Will up to play in it. We made hot potato soup and built a fire. If I hadn't had to go to work today, it would have been the most perfect day ever :)

Here are a few of the photos we snapped on our wintery, blustery day:
The front of our house.
Our backyard.
Will in the backyard in front of the snow-covered lawn mower and leaf blower.
Will walking in the snow on the side of the house.

The beautiful roaring fire that Scott made.

Well obviously Will knows what is important. Coat, gloves, hat, and pacifier!!

That last picture makes me want to come sit by your fire place.

Looks so fun! I love your tree and stockings - very cute. I, too, would like to come sit by the fire with April and Will. :)

Will looks precious in the outfit, I knew he would! He is so cute by the fire, watching so intently.... looking forward to having you to myself (somewhat) over the holidays. Thanks for the pictures. Love you
