I've always loved your red walls. Are the plates near the ceiling new?
The plates are new, sort of. My grandma recently gave them to us. They are "month" plates that go with a wooden calendar. They are by the same artist (Charles Wysocki) that painted the other Americana-style stuff I have in there.
