One Hundred...

1. I’m twenty-eight years old.
2. I got married on my twenty-first birthday.
3. I was born on my dad’s twenty-sixth birthday.
4. I gave birth to my first child seventeen days before my twenty-sixth birthday.
5. He was due on the date that my mom was due with me.
6. I gave birth to my second child this past July.
7. Both my babies were born in the ten o’clock hour of the morning.
8. I am not a morning person.
9. I would rather sleep than eat if given a choice.
10. When I was little, I quit ballet and tap lessons because I had to get up too early on Saturday mornings to go.
11. I was in drill team in high school.
12. I tried out for officer but didn’t get it.
13. I co-founded the drill team at LCU—Spirit.
14. I don’t know how to “couple dance.”
15. I’ve been married for seven years.
16. When we got back from our honeymoon, we were homeless because our LCU apartment wasn’t finished yet.
17. We lived with Bob and Brenda Cass and in the Mabee Living Center while we were homeless for a month waiting for our apartment to get done.
18. Our apartment really never got done and we moved in anyway.
19. I got my first cell phone because our apartment didn’t have phone lines yet.
20. I don’t like talking on the phone.
21. I do like writing emails and letters.
22. I like to fill out surveys and stuff on MySpace even if no one reads them, because it’s fun.
23. I love to sing.
24. I sang in choir n junior high and in college.
25. I didn’t sing in high school because drill team took up too much of my time.
26. Scott tells me I should be a soprano, but I’ve sung alto since I was in junior high.
27. I sometimes would rather sing soprano in church, but I feel I need to sing alto because hardly anyone does.
28. I feel like altos have more of a challenge.
29. I like to have things very organized.
30. At work, my desk has to be completely clean before I leave.
31. At home, my desk is a complete wreck most of the time.
32. I’m a hoarder and a pack-rat, but not as bad as my mom (love you, Mom).
33. All my DVDs are in alphabetical order.
34. I like it when books, etc. are in ascending and descending order.
35. In my silverware drawer, all the spoons and forks have to nestle each other.
36. I like the thought of drinking coffee and the smell of it, but I rarely finish a whole cup when I pour myself one.
37. I like the flavored creamers and lots of sugar when I make a cup of coffee.
38. My favorite “coffee,” though, is the Café Vienna flavor by General Foods International (the powder that comes in a can).
39. I love hot tea.
40. I love iced tea.
41. I used to like sweet tea, but now I prefer the unsweetened version.
42. My favorite soft drink is Diet Coke.
43. I have read the infamous Diet Coke emails and have thought about quitting, but I decided oh well…if I get a disease because of it, I’ll just get to go to Heaven sooner :)
44. I’m not supposed to drink carbonated drinks because I have really soft enamel on my teeth. But I do it anyway.
45. I have two crowns and LOTS of fillings in my teeth. They’re horrible.
46. I do not have any of my wisdom teeth.
47. I had two surgeries to have my wisdom teeth removed and ever since I have had problems with my TMJ.
48. I love chocolate.
49. Two of my favorite things are brownies and chocolate chip cookies.
50. When I was little I was a weirdo and ate around the chocolate chips in c.c. cookies.
51. I don’t really care for peanut butter cookies (except the ones my friend Jen made one time!)
52. I love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
53. My favorite jellies are red plum and blackberry.
54. When I was a kid I would only eat white bread but now all I like is wheat.
55. I am eight years older than my brother.
56. My first day of high school was his first day of kindergarten.
57. I grew up in a home without cable TV.
58. I never listened to the radio until I was in the sixth grade.
59. My first cassette tape was Amy Grant’s The Collection.
60. My first video (that was actually mine) was The Sound of Music.
61. I am an indoors person.
62. I played outside as a kid, but I would have rather been inside reading, listening to music, or playing with my Barbies.
63. The outdoors do not like me…everytime I go outside I get eaten alive by mosquitos.
64. I have climbed a 13,900-something ft. mountain in Colorado.
65. I cried climbing it.
66. It was one of the coolest things I ever did.
67. I do not enjoy skiing.
68. I have only been once and it took me two hours to get down the mountain.
69. I would rather sit in the cabin by the fire with a book and cup of hot chocolate.
70. I love to read.
71. I love long books like Gone With the Wind, the Outlander series, and the latter Harry Potters. Books that are shorter than four hundred pages are almost no fun because they get finished too quickly.
72. The only places out of the United States I have been are Cancun, Mexico, and the Bahamas.
73. I went to both places my senior year of high school.
74. I went to Cancun with a friend and her family and I went to the Bahamas with the senior members of drill team on a cruise.
75. Some of the girls who went on the cruise were so bad that our director said she would never take another group again (She had taken every group of seniors for the past 15 or so years).
76. I have been to both Disneyland and Disneyworld.
77. I had never ridden a rollercoaster until I was seventeen years old.
78. My first rollercoaster was the Viper at Astroworld. (Astroworld is now no longer with us :().
78. The first time I rode a plane I was about to turn eight. I went with my grandparents to California to meet my new cousin.
80. I was the only grandchild on both sides for eight years.
81. My youngest cousin is four years old.
82. I have an uncle who hasn’t even started having kids yet.
83. My oldest niece is almost twenty-one (she is my niece by marriage). She is older than my brother.
84. My first “real job” (besides babysitting and camp counseling) was at Bath and Body Works.
85. I liked the discount but hated it otherwise because they never gave me enough hours.
86. I have since worked at the LCU post office and bookstore,
87. a funeral home,
88. a high school,
89. and a flower shop.
90. I love to have my fingernails painted but never have enough time to do it.
91. If my toenails aren’t painted or don’t look pretty enough, I won’t wear sandals.
92. I pretty much never leave the house without make-up,
93. or at the very least mascara.
94. I don't really like cats, but I would like to have one anyway, but I won’t get one until my dogs are gone.

95. I think it’s because they’re lower maintenance and they chase away mice.
96. I love Star Trek: The Next Generation and Voyager but I’m not digging Deep Space Nine so much.
97. I am totally into Lost and Heroes.
98. I also love The Office and 30 Rock.
99. I’m a freak about spelling and grammar and I’m not even an English teacher!
100. I think it would be fun to be a copy editor.
101. I also like doing tedious jobs like filing and other secretarial work.
102. I guess it’s a good thing that I’m doing secretarial work.
103. Yes, I know this is more than one hundred, but I’m having fun.
104. I didn't think I could think of one hundred things about myself...

105. ...and now I'll stop :)

Very informative. :) I just commented on all the rooms so I felt I should comment here also. I guess I need to do a 100 also to keep up with everybody.

I loved the 100! What fun! I'm glad you enjoyed it because I did too. I never realized how much we have in common. I may try it myself as it seems it would be as interesting for the writer as for the readers.

It is wonderful to see you even if only in pictures! You have a beautiful home and precious babies!

Okay I'm a little intriqued with your silverware drawer. What do you mean they have to nestle each other? Sometime you might want to take a picture of it and blog about it. That is if you're ever needing a blog topic. It's funny how we do things, you probably do that because your mom did that, huh? My silverware drawer is just like how my mom did hers.

Speaking of LOST, when does it come back on? I can't wait!!!

That was interesting! I'm working on my list. I've been working on it for about 3 months now!

Daphne...I'm so glad you found me! I will be adding you to my blogroll. I would love to read your one hundred :)

Larissa...I'll take a picture of my silverware drawer just for you. And actually my mom doesn't do it that way, I'm just a weirdo on my own :)
And I'm not sure when Lost comes back...maybe tonight? I have to watch it on the Internet because I don't get ABC at my house.
Looking forward to your one hundred. It took me a while to think of them all, too :)

Harmony...can't wait to read yours, too!

My peanut butter cookies do rock, don't they? I'll make some for this weekend. Weird - I AM an English teacher, and I'm not a total stickler for spelling and grammar. I've come to ignore it, since it plagues our entire civilization and we'll all end up just speaking in text talk like cell phones. Love, Jen

I can attest to you not being a morning person since I was a your roommate for a semester, but heck...I am not, either!! What a great pair we made ;) Good times, good times...

We have a lot more in common than I thought, too! My CD's are alphabetized and I used to put my books in descending to ascending order...and I totally understand about the grammar/spelling thing-I am so anal about that-it just seems to jump off the page at me!! ;)

I am like Larissa-I have started my list, but have not finished it-one of these days...
