You've heard of "spooning" right? It means when something or someone imitates the curve of another thing or person...like spoons nestled together in the silverware drawer. Well, I like my spoons to actually spoon each other. I was asked to elaborate on this and include a photo, so here you go :) Enjoy!

Is this an unusual event? I thought everyone did this - maybe I'm assuming everyone is like me. I mean, isn't this why we have a silverware drawer? Or, am I weird, too?
Totally unrelated to the silverware drawer (though I agree with Kelly)... I REALLY like your playlist. I have actually left it playing just for background music a few times now. Great picks!

Okay, that makes sense now. Yes, I know what spooning is, but I for some reason was thinking when you said spooning that they went to the side. My brain is a little off these days. Mine do the same thing, but I don't care if they spoon just as long as their in their right little compartment. My silverware holder has wider slots. Thank YOu!!!
Ditto on the play list. I have one of these on myspace, and we have some of the same tunes.
Bethany, I knew you and I were similar in our music preferences when I opened your page one time to hear Alison Krauss! She's one of my very favorite artists!
Larissa, I hope you didn't think I was being condescending...I was just trying to be funny :) Anyway, Mom's silverware drawer has all the spoons in the same compartment, etc., but they're not always nestled up perfectly :) I'm a kook and they have to be!
I would like my silverware to spoon, but my slots are so wide they go every which a way....
I do have a neat trick to pass on to you younger girls, though. Load your dishwasher with all the same utensils in each compartment and then when you put dishes away you don't have to sort the silverware.

I didn't think you were condescending at all! Don't worry about that!!!! I like your mom's idea though about the dishwasher. I would have never thought about that. And my silverware holder must be just like hers, b/c mine won't spoon b/c of the same problem.
There sure is a lot of talk about silverware on here! :)
